As an important node of international logistics, the port plays a vital role in the economic development of Shenzhen, a coastal city.
As a world-class hub port, one of the world's busiest container terminals, "Yantian Port" is very busy.
Recently, Yantian Port ushered in the maiden voyage of COSCO SHIPPING US West Coast Express SEA3
COSCO SHIPPING US West Coast Express SEA3 maiden voyage was successful
This morning, the "COSCO SHIPPING New Africa" ship sounded the whistle and arrived at Shenzhen Yantian Port, and then it will be fully loaded with nearly 7,400 TEUs of home appliances, cross-border e-commerce and other goods, leaving China for the United States.
This marks the successful maiden voyage of COSCO SHIPPING's US West Coast Express "China Yantian-Long Beach, USA" direct route SEA3, which has built a convenient, economical and efficient new international logistics channel for cross-border e-commerce customers in South China and the majority of companies exporting to the United States.
The order of ports on this route is Kaohsiung, Xiamen, Yantian, and Long Beach, USA, with a total of 6 ships deployed. Combined with COSCO SHIPPING's existing SEA route, it forms a "dual route" pattern, connecting major ports in China and the west coast of the United States.
In addition, compared with traditional routes, this route has greatly shortened the voyage to only 14 days, and in view of the small batch and high frequency characteristics of cross-border e-commerce, it arranges two shifts a week. In terms of operation procedures, customers can complete all inquiry, order, shipment, reconciliation, and settlement online, providing full-process cargo tracking services, and the services are fully online and visualized.
Shenzhen cross-border e-commerce
Becomes a new driving force for foreign trade growth
In the first quarter of this year, the import and export volume of Guangdong's cross-border e-commerce exceeded 200 billion yuan. Among them, the import and export volume of Shenzhen's cross-border e-commerce exceeded 110 billion yuan, with an increase of more than 95%, supporting half of the province's cross-border e-commerce in the first quarter, becoming a new driving force for foreign trade growth.
As the "City of Cross-border E-commerce", Shenzhen has more than 150,000 cross-border e-commerce export enterprises, accounting for almost half of the Chinese sellers on Alibaba International Station, AliExpress, Lazada, eBay and other platforms. One-third of Amazon's Chinese sellers are from Shenzhen.
Shenzhen Port has added 4 e-commerce express lines this year and operates 28 cross-border e-commerce shipping routes on a regular basis. Among them, Yantian Port has as many as 11 cross-border e-commerce shipping routes to Europe, the United States and Australia, gradually building a point-to-point maritime rapid transportation network.
Yantian Port has a dense ocean route network
As an important node in the global supply chain, Shenzhen Yantian Port is responsible for more than one-third of Guangdong Province's foreign trade imports and exports and more than a quarter of the country's exports to the United States.
Yantian Port has a dense ocean route network and is one of the ports with the densest European and American routes in South China. On average, there are 4 flights to Europe and 6 flights to the United States every day, covering many overseas destinations, and providing nearly 100 routes to the world every week.
As the preferred port for cross-border e-commerce in South China, it provides fast and stable logistics services to cross-border e-commerce sellers with its "dense, numerous, fast and high-quality" international route services, greatly shortening the transportation time of goods.
