Scope of domestic air freight business
Domestic air freight is entrusted by customers to handle domestic booking, door-to-door pickup, insurance, direct or transshipment to any airport in China, door-to-door delivery, handling single oversized and overweight goods, tracking the entire process, and providing customers with fast, safe, and efficient services.
Domestic air freight operation process
1. Taking orders
The principal shall inform the freight forwarder of the departure time or approximate delivery time of the goods, including their destination, product name, gross weight, and volume, in order to match the required flights, and send a freight forwarding authorization letter to the freight forwarder.
2. Booking
According to the power of attorney, the freight forwarder reserves cabin space with the airline; After confirming the cabin space, inform the client of the delivery time and flight information; Handover of cargo by the airline and issuance of air waybills.
3. Settlement of fees
The principal shall settle the fees based on the transaction price with the freight forwarder in advance.
4. Goods information tracking
Inform the client of the estimated landing time of the flight, and if cargo insurance has been processed, check if the outer packaging of the goods is intact.
Precautions for domestic air freight operations
1. The shipper must ensure that the goods or substances being transported belong to prohibited items not transported by air.
2. If the outer packaging of the goods is found to be damaged, it is recommended to unpack and inspect it on the spot, and request the airline to provide a certificate of outer packaging damage.
3. The packaging shall be provided by the principal. If fragile items such as plastic, glass products, etc. are checked in, please add fillers.
