SERVICE UPDATE | EFFECTIVE 22 OCTOBER 2026
URC–OTP Schedule Adjusts to D1235 as New URC–WAW B777 Freighter Service Opens
New Vista expands Xinjiang-origin capacity into both Romania and Poland for European cargo planning.
From 22 October 2026, the Xinjiang-origin air cargo schedule serving Europe will change. The Urumqi (URC) → Bucharest (OTP) freighter service will move from the former D123456 pattern to D1235, while a new Urumqi (URC) → Warsaw (WAW) B777 freighter service will begin operation on D47.
For New Vista customers, this creates a clearer two-gateway structure from Xinjiang into Europe: Bucharest for Romania and selected Central / Eastern European road connections, and Warsaw for Poland and nearby Central European markets.

1. Romania: URC → OTP Continues with D1235
The Bucharest product remains an important New Vista gateway into Romania and nearby Central / Eastern European destinations. From 22 October, the working schedule changes to D1235 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday), subject to actual operating schedule, space and cargo acceptance.
The route continues to be relevant for machinery, multi-ton cargo, heavy and oversized pieces, automotive cargo, electronics and special cargo that benefits from full-freighter capacity. Optional onward trucking can be evaluated after OTP for selected destinations.

2. Poland: New URC → WAW B777 Freighter Starts 22 October
A new direct Urumqi (URC) → Warsaw (WAW) cargo service is scheduled to make its inaugural flight on 22 October 2026. The planned frequency is D47 (Thursday and Sunday) using a B777 freighter.
For customers shipping into Poland, the new WAW capacity creates an additional direct air-freight option from western China. It is especially relevant to larger commercial shipments, urgent replenishment, machinery and project cargo where stable freighter space is important.

3. What the Two-Gateway Network Means for Customers
The schedule change should not be viewed only as a reduction in Romania frequency. From 22 October, New Vista can compare two Xinjiang-origin European gateways against the actual destination and cargo characteristics.
Bucharest (OTP)
Best suited to Romania and selected Central / Eastern European road connections, particularly when B747 freighter capability is useful for large or difficult cargo.
Warsaw (WAW)
A direct Poland gateway using B777 freighter capacity, useful for Poland-bound shipments and selected Central European cargo.
Route selection
The final choice should be based on the cargo dimensions, weight, special-cargo status, final destination, ready date, available positions and total air + road cost.
4. China Origin Still Does Not Need to Be Xinjiang
For both routes, cargo can be collected or transferred from major Chinese manufacturing areas into the URC gateway. The supplier city, ready date, commodity, pieces, weight and dimensions should be provided before the domestic China plan is confirmed.
5. Larger Cargo Can Have Stronger Rate Leverage
With dedicated freighter capacity, larger and more stable shipment volumes may have stronger per-kilogram negotiating leverage than fragmented small bookings. The final rate still depends on density, dimensions, cargo type, ready date and available aircraft positions.
